noetr contains 11 ingredients, all fully declared. The active ingredients are a silver complex (Silver Carboxymethylalaninate) and zinc oxide. The water-free care base consists of plant oils (including coconut, castor and almond oil), carnauba wax and beeswax, a plant-based emulsifier, bentonite and vitamin E. noetr is free from aluminium salts, alcohol and fragrance. Fresh sweat is largely odourless. Unpleasant odour only develops when bacteria on the skin break down components of sweat. The silver complex helps to inhibit these bacteria. Zinc oxide helps to neutralise odour by converting fatty acids in sweat into odourless salts. Your sweat glands are not blocked.

No. noetr contains no aluminium salts and does not block your sweat glands. It works against odour, not against sweating itself.

No. noetr contains beeswax (Cera Alba).

Take a pea-sized amount from the tube onto your fingertip. Apply the cream to a clean, dry underarm and massage it in briefly until absorbed. Repeat on the other side.

Once a day is enough – ideally in the evening after showering, when your skin is clean and dry.

With daily use, one 20 ml tube lasts about 4–6 weeks. A pea-sized amount per underarm is enough.

Give your skin some time to recover after shaving. If it is irritated, wait until it has calmed down. If irritation occurs, give your skin a break until it has healed.

noetr does not cause discolouration. Let the cream absorb briefly after applying, before you get dressed.

noetr keeps for 6 months after opening. Close the tube after each use.

An antiperspirant is meant to reduce the amount of sweat. For this, it usually contains aluminium salts that temporarily narrow the openings of the sweat glands. A deodorant, on the other hand, works against odour, not against sweating – for example by inhibiting odour-causing bacteria or neutralising odour. You can tell whether a product contains aluminium salts from its ingredient list (INCI), for example from terms such as “Aluminum Chlorohydrate” or “Aluminum Zirconium …”. noetr is a deodorant without aluminium salts.

Humans have two types of sweat glands. Eccrine glands are found all over the body and mainly release water and salt for cooling. Apocrine glands are found mainly in the underarms and release a secretion containing fats and proteins. Fresh sweat hardly smells. The typical odour develops when bacteria on the skin break down these components – producing, among other things, short-chain fatty acids and sulphur compounds.

• Wash your underarms daily and dry them well.
• Apply deodorant to clean, dry skin.
• Choose breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen – synthetic fabrics often hold odour longer.
• Wash worn clothes thoroughly, at a higher temperature if the care label allows. Bacteria and odour can settle in textiles.

Antiperspirants reduce the amount of sweat by temporarily narrowing the sweat glands. When you stop using them, you sweat at your normal level again – which can feel like “more” at first. noetr does not reduce the amount of sweat; it works against odour. Sometimes old odour is also still trapped in your clothes: wash them thoroughly.
